G.R.E.E.N. Statement of Principles endorsed by Groningen Declaration Network

Digital educational data should encounter no limits wherever they are sent, to whomever, wherever. In order to make that happen, the networks through which these data are sent should offer open access, balanced with security and trust. That is what the G.R.E.E.N. Statement of Principles is about, G.R.E.E.N. being short for the Global Registrar EduRecord Exchange Network.

In September 2013, the G.R.E.E.N. Statement of Principles was publicly announced by the National Student Clearinghouse, in close cooperation with AACRAO and the AACRAO SPEEDE Committee.

The G.R.E.E.N. Statement of Principles is dedicated to promoting a free, open, principles‚Äźdriven data exchange ecosystem through which electronic student academic records can be securely exchanged worldwide. The Groningen Declaration Network endorses the G.R.E.E.N. Statement of Principles as one of those best practise that hopefully can  henceforward inform the further development of the Digital Student Data Ecosystem.
