Update on Universities Australia's Road Towards the National Digital Student Academic Record Data Management Solution

Neil is Executive Director, Academic Services and Registrar at the University of Melbourne, Australia, and has fifteen years of senior tertiary/higher education leadership experience. From 2013 onwards, Neil has been instrumental in bringing the Groningen Declaration to the attention of the Australian Higher Education sector and securing the approval of the sector to participation. Neil was educated in the UK and in Australia, obtaining a Bachelor of Politics (Hons) at the University of Sussex and an MBA from RMIT University. Neil holds a number of company board directorships and is currently President of the Australian Centre for Grief and Bereavement.


Australia's Digital Student Data Task Force has made big strides since it came into being in 2013. Neil Robinson will update us on the outcome of the Expression of Interest that has gone out late last year and which will hopefully lead to the development of a regional node that will serve both Australia's and New Zealand's graduates and students.
