Current number of student data registrations:
14.5 million students / graduates (known as “learners” in South Africa), with 14.3 million (per 100K / 1,000 K) enrolments and achievements of qualifications (not all learners have full qualifications), as well as almost 94 million enrolments and achievements of modules, courses and unit standards towards full qualifications.

Annual increase of registered student data :
This varies considerably, as older gaps are still being filled. For the 2013-2014 final year (ended 31 March 2014): more than 1 million.

Number of consultations of student data :
For the 2013-2014 financial year, 7200 people have requested and received their free NLRD transcripts, and the qualifications of a further 21140 people have been verified by organisations.
